It's odd, how something that I've worked on for so long can turn out so simple.
I started this website with a general notion. To have a place to present and maybe talk about my creative projects. From there I fell into all kinds of odd places as to how this website should be developed. I had flash animation that I spent way too much time working on. I even thought of bringing in other people to this website. Contributing editors. Originally there were comic book reviews(which is odd because I don't actually read many comic books **cough** graphic novels). There were reviews of beer.

How odd is that? Now, of course, it seems so obvious that even mentioning these ideas that were toyed with seems silly.

I became very frustrated, because I want to spend my time on my projects, but I knew I wanted a website. I was having a tough time focusing on my projects, knowing that a website was necessary at some point.
Then, the whole thing broke like a fever and I sketched this design in maybe twenty minutes.

*shrug*

And now...after clearing away all the parasitic pages that I thought were necessary...I have this.

It comes down to two things. Simplicity and a focus on creation instead of reaction. I don't want to review anything, really. I want to create. And I want to show people what I create. If you try to make it anything more than that...well...who cares. I know this post is odd, but I just wanted to communicate how long its taken to make something so incredibly simple. I believe much of art and science is like this, and I am proud of the simplicity of this space. I can look at this webpage and sigh.
